- This is the LGEN2 Model - Short Handle - Comes With Both Manual and Automatic Reset Handles - The LGEN2 is specifically for aluminum Lund boats, Alumacraft boats and other aluminum boats with a thick mounting plate. If you have a standard U bolt and NO mounting plate, please refer to our chart SPORT MODEL. This specific model DOES NOT Work on fiberglass boats, Aluminum Ranger or boats that have a thick aluminum eye. Please refer to our other models for these setups.
- Stainless Steel NON Corrosive - Upgraded Stolts Polyurethane Protector - Comes with a small Roller on the front to prevent the bow tip from catching when launching - Clamp travels past the polyurethane to prevent steel on steel wear to your bow eye when latching and traveling.
- Installation of the Boat2Trailer automatic boat latch is very simple. This boat latch is designed to be a bow roller replacement, therefore it is a one bolt installation. You can simply remove your bow roller from your boat trailer and install our Ramp N Clamp Boat2Trailer automatic boat latch in its place. The installation takes roughly 10 minutes. Be sure to use roughly 22 - 26 ft lbs pressure on the insall bolt (snug). This way your latch can still pivot when needed at steeper landings.
