The basic idea behind heating a residence is to have a radiator with an electronic thermostat in each room that regulates the temperature without being affected much by what happens outside of the room. This usually works great, and Roundline has long been lauded for its precise heating and thermal comfort.

Residences with open floorplans, however, put some strain on this. Radiators struggle to work together and are affected negatively by large air-masses or the presence of an air-to-air heat pump. This leads to worse thermal comfort and wasted energy.
